Frequently Asked Questions

How Can I Track My Shipment: 

You will receive an email / text message notification once your order has been confirmed as well as throughout the shipping and delivery process, you will receive a tracking number accordingly. Please click here to track your package.  

Shipping and Delivery:

Shipping times do not include processing times and start when the shipping courier has received the package. Orders will not be processed until we have received credit card verification and authorization.

 

Will I Be Charged For Customs and Duties?

As per the new USMA/T-MEC/CUSMA
As per the new USMCA/T-MEC/CUSMA Agreement between the US, Canada, and Mexico:
Canada – Orders less than $150 CAD are no longer subject to duties, please check the current exchange rate at time of purchase. Taxes will still apply.
Mexico – Orders less than $117 USD are not subject to duties, taxes will still apply.
Customs and/or duties will be collected for orders shipping to all other international destinations by the local governing agency. The shipping courier may also collect these charges on behalf of the government. Please check with the border agency of the country you are shipping to if you are unsure of the regulations. These funds are not paid to or collected by Roots of Fight and as such are non-refundable.
If you feel you were overcharged please reach out directly to your local border agency for instructions on how to dispute the charges.
When should I anticipate receiving my order?

Standard Shipping 

As we currently ship via UPS, we cannot guarantee shipping times. Average shipping times for the mainland USA are 7-10 business days (not including order processing/fulfillment times, weekends or holidays). Order Fulfillment times take anywhere from 5-7 business days depending upon the size and quantity of the order.  

 Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories

Allow up to 10-30 business days (not including order processing/fulfillment times, weekends or holidays) for delivery.

 

Military Addresses (FPO / APO)

Shipments to military addresses are delivered via USPS and the Military Postal Service and can take up to 8 to 10 business weeks for delivery (not including weekends and holidays).

 

International Shipping

International orders are shipped at a standard flat rate with an average shipping time of up to 30 business days from the ship date. Shipping and handling does not include import duties into the country of destination. All import duties, taxes, and processing fees are the responsibility of the purchasers.

 

Post Office Boxes

Shipments to P.O. boxes must be delivered by USPS and usually take approximately 7 to 10 business days.

 

Care, Handling and Finish of Metal Prints:

 

Sunlight:  

Keep away from direct sunlight.
The diagonal line present within our online product mockups will NOT appear on the final finished Metal Print you receive, it is only present on our website to show how light (natural or artificial) may reflect off of the final product. 

Handling:

Handle Metal Prints carefully to avoid bending, denting, or crushing the metal. 
Cleaning:
Surface can be cleaned using a soft cloth with non-ammonia based window cleaning or water.

Return Policy:

All sales are final and purchases cannot be refunded or exchanged. Detroit Dreaming offers accurate and comprehensive information and pictures of our prints and framing options.
If you have any questions, please contact us before placing your order. Inspect your purchase carefully as soon as it arrives. If you believe there is an error with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of package arrival, no claim can be made after 48 hours. We will do our best to resolve any problems (damage or wrong product) deemed reasonable. There will be no unauthorized returns to Detroit Dreaming and these will be refused and marked return to sender, if received. Detroit Dreaming MUST approve all returns by e-mail before the customer is allowed to send the item back.
Can I cancel my order? 
Once an order has been placed, it can only be cancelled (with good reason) within the first 24 hours from the time it has been placed. There is no exception. All cancelled orders are subject to a 10% process and handling fee.
My order never arrived, what should I do ?
